Terms & Conditions

AMG Shipping LLC, operating under the license number 026299NF issued by Federal Maritime Commission as well as 06557TL (towing License) USDOT 2882320 , specializes in car export services. These terms and conditions govern the agreement between AMG Shipping LLC and its customers.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

​

Customers have the option to cancel a shipping order at no cost and without any cancellation fee, provided the order has not been assigned to a carrier or has not been exported out of the country. Once the unit has sailed a refund cannot be given. Units can be removed out of the port before sailing but will have a terminal fee. If the order is an inland transportation, once a carrier has been dispatched for an order, cancellation will incur a fee of $150. Refunds for cancelled orders are processed within 48 hours upon request, with credit typically reflecting within 7 to 15 business days depending on the issuing bank. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to amgshippingllc@gmail.com or by phone at 305-336-8741.

Contract Terms and Liability Disclaimer:

​

  1. AMG Shipping ensures pickup and delivery as close to the customer's door as feasible for inland transportation. In certain cases, agreed-upon alternative locations may be necessary due to safety or accessibility concerns.

  2. Estimated pickup and delivery dates are provided but delays may occur due to various factors such as weather or road conditions. AMG Shipping is not liable for any resultant losses or damages.

  3. The carrier is authorized to transport the customer's vehicle between specified locations.

  4. Customers are responsible for preparing their vehicles for transport, including removing or securing loose parts and ensuring the vehicle is in good running condition.

  5. Customers must disarm any alarm systems or provide instructions for doing so.

  6. Personal belongings must be limited to one suitcase or bag weighing no more than 150 lbs. AMG Shipping is not liable for any personal items left in the vehicle.

  7. For international orders, vehicles must be empty except for factory-installed equipment. Customers are responsible for customs paperwork and may incur additional charges for port locations. Cargo insurance is available upon request.

  8. Additional charges may apply for inoperable or oversized vehicles. Customers must inform AMG Shipping in advance of any such specifications.

  9. AMG Shipping reserves the right to reject any order.

  10. Both parties must carefully inspect the vehicle upon pickup and delivery, noting any damage on the Bill of Lading. Damage claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.

  11. Carrier responsibility begins upon vehicle inspection and ends upon final inspection and delivery.

  12. AMG Shipping is not responsible for damage caused by natural events or pre-existing vehicle issues.

  13. Customers must designate an agent for pickup and/or delivery if unavailable.

  14. Invalidity of any provision does not affect the enforceability of other provisions. By continuing with the transaction, customers acknowledge understanding and agreement to these terms.
